Freemax 15 free-machining plates offer excellent machinability and finishing characteristics, enabling substantial savings through the use of this material. These plates are machinable at up to 40% higher speeds than comparable carbon steels! Freemax 15 is a low-carbon steel that may be carburized and hardened using similar methods used with ordinary low-carbon steels.
